About Us

After graduating from the University of Michigan, Lauren Rubin headed to San Francisco where she worked in finance. Lauren moved back east, graduated from  New York’s Instiute of Culinary Education, interned at Union Pacific, then cooked at the Tribeca Grill and later as a personal chef and recipe tester at Good Housekeeping.
Phil Rubin received his BA from Harvard University and after years in journalism jumped into the food world, graduating from the Institute of Culinary Education. Following school he interned at Cafe Luxembourg and later cooked at the Citigroup Executive Dining Room.
